Macbeth Act 5 Scene 2

Scene 2 has characters Menteth, Cathness, Angus, Lennox and soldiers. These are the Scottish soldiers defending Macbeth. In this scene, they discuss how Macbeth has lost control of the country and is now viewed as a ‘tyrant’. Cathness asks if Donalbain is with his brother, Malcolm, but Lennox replies and says that he is definitely not there. Angus says ‘Now does he feel his title hang loose about him, like a giant’s robe upon a dwarfish thief’. Here he is saying that the title of a king is too big for Macbeth. The scene ends with Lennox saying that they need to make Malcolm king and get rid of Macbeth.
